iexist Posted December 28, 2015 Share Posted December 28, 2015 what's everyone using for needle weight? i'm currently rocking a taped down dime, but still getting some skips every now and then. working on my soft hands. another question, is what travel case is everyone using for their portable units? I'm sure i could find a pelican case and pull some foam out to fit everything. work through trial and error until i found the right case... just wondering what everyone else is using. looking for something to fit the pt01, fader crib, raiden and why not.. some 7s. If you don't want the fader, £20. I might just order some kits at that price anyway and just assemble them as people need. The components are so fucking cheap in bulk it's ridiculous.Yo Rasteri if its not to late could you put me down for 2 PCB and PCV faders? I do have a soldering iron the whole start stop with the tone arm really annoys meI was thinking it would be cool to add maybe like one of those arcade game style buttons as a start stop button There's a switch underneath the tonearm base that currently controls the stop/start, you could route the wires that currently go to that switch to your own switch. The easiest way would be to add a latching push switch, i.e. one that pops in when you push it and pops out when you push it again. If you wanna go technics-style, you're gonna have to build some kind of soft-start circuit using a flipflop and a relay (or MOSFET).
