Scratch techniques to slooow beats

Hey..

Im a old school dj that knows quite a few cuts and all the basic fader cuts like flares and crabs etc... But im having trouble with the sound thats the last couple years trend.. The one where people cut to like 80 bpm songs and it sounds really fast, im guessing its some sorts of combos i missed out on, and i cant find any discussions on any forums about this..

So, what do you lot recommend for me to practice? What types of cuts are usually done to these types of beats? Like the regulars rafik, tigerstyles etc etc.. I know i know they have tons of combos for this but i need something to start me off as i need to break this "barrier" for me. Especially the type of cuts that sound continous, almost like a insanely fast transform.. If you get what im saying. I toyed around with the delayed 2click flares but it doesnt seem thats the solution..

Any suggestions besides "do 2 click flares" is appreciated!

Thanks

Yeah. 1 Click Chirp Flares sound nice continuous double time over really slow beats. It will give you that sound you are looking for.

agreed, also delayed flares sound sick, but for fuck sake don't ask me to explain them, you should be able to find a good demo on youtube if you search delayed 2 click flares.

I just realised that in Ryan's accent "Shitebox" and "Shoutbox" must sound almost identical, rather than merely a bit similar as they do to everyone else.

You got me confused with someone from Belfast
