I think scratching is one of the only artforms that got way worse as the technical side of things improved. Half of the really really good scratchers can't scratch for shit now. They seem to have no idea how to actually scratch. I start listening to their videos and I turn off after like 10 seconds cause there is nothing else I have any interest in hearing. It's just a barage of boringness. Beyond sloppy scratching, simple scratching etc. the absolute worst type of cutting for me is boring cutting. And it seems that there is now only a handfull of scratchers who ain't boring. But that handfull are fucking dope because they have incorporated the technique and still try to sound nice. As for Milennials. You can all suck my ballbag. The only reason I have any time for any millenials, is boning the chicks, cause old ass chicks my age look like shit.

If I'm playing house/techno/disco to a heavily drug influenced crowd then playing long sets are great. I love them. But if it's bar gigs or hip hop, funk, etc. Then I never want to play more than 2 or 3 hours. The crowds are are way less interesting and you have to play hits/bangers to keep their attention. I have no interest in playing 8 hours of bangers.

Easy men A bar here in berlin have asked me to help sort their DJ system out and I'm trying to help them do it as cheap as posss but still good kit. They have a decent mixer sorted and 2 technics 1210s. However a lot of the guys play house/techno and like to play off USB with CDJs, but I think the CDJ 850s are about 800 Euros each. WHat I was wondering, is there a good alternative to Pioneer CDJs that are just as good to play off? The same responsiveness off the platter, build quality etc? Or are the Pioneers just that much better? (I don't know as I never play off CDs). The other thing is that the other DJ's will all play off Pioneer CDJs everywhere else so it needs to be something they can come in and feel comfortable using straight away. (Hence why I mentioned the platter needs to work well etc). I'm looking around other forums too but can't find much recent info. Any feedback would be wicked guys. Cheers

Lol. @Diggler. I kept like 3 dirstsyle records to scratch with and Phantasmegoria. That's it. Haha.

So I decided about 2 months ago to move to Berlin as it's really cheap and loads of fun. I have realised I'm not all about work and money n shit so I'm gonna just do some stuff I enjoy for a while. I also want a big life change so decided to sell all of my possessions (I think this is called a mid life crisis). Anyway I sold all furniture, electrics, got rid of clothes, shoes, sentimental things, stuff I don't "need". I was left with a set of decks, a TV (Which I'll store at my parents), 1 box of old birthday cards from my ex n stuff, 6 bags of clothes and my records. I decided to take the plunge and the vinyl went last Monday. I found a cool guy who takes them, lists them individually and sells them like that. He takes 50%. You take 50%. Yesterday I got my first small payment for the first few he had sold. Up until yesterday I was all good with this and kept it out of my mind, buuuuuut last night I had a dream about my vinyl and woke up in a sweat. WTF?? Has anyone else done this? How did you feel? Am I an idiot? I didn't even keep my own records which I had made. Haha. I'm a fucking tard,

Here we go then guys. The technology retard is back. So I'm gonna go for either the Honor 7, OnePlus Two or Wileyfox Storm. This is what I can make of it. What you guys recon? Oh yeah. For my personal preferance the things I would like are a handset that ioporates at a decent pace. No sticking and lagging. As much battery life as possible. A good camera. Back and front (Need to be able to send selfies to the 19 year old girls you meet on Instagram : ) Huawei Honor 7 £250 Bad battery performance is a concern. Apparently it didn't perform too well in tests. Low level lighting photos are not meant to be great. This was my big issue with my shitty sony. Most pics I take are in darker places at night. Bars, Clubs etc. Of my drunken dumb friends. With the sony it was impossible to take an in focus pic if it was half dark> Even with the flash on it would be totally out of focus and just look like a white blob. Other than those 2 things everything else seems decent. Oneplus Two Approx £280 No SD Card Slot but Does this really matter? I doub't I'll ever fill up 64gb Aparently this one has good low light shots but slow camera speed? God knows what that means?? any ideas? This has a smaller camera. 13 Mega Pixel. 5 Mega Pixel on the front. (I don’t even know what a mega pixel is haha). Does this really matter? Battery is supposed to be better than the Huawaei. Wileyfox Storm £200 Not much info yet. Does anyone know where there is an actual review where they have actually tested the phone? I haven't found one on google. I think it says that it uses the 20megapixel sony camera. I 100% don’t want it to be like the 20 Megapixel camera that was on my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. That camera was a total heap of shit. Probably worse than phones I had 6 years ago. You think it will be the same camera? Other than that, I haven't seen any actual reviews on the battery and stuff. Any idea which way you guys would go? This shit is a minefield.
