  1. Yeah liked it and obv it was super clean.... I would work on pauses, record manipulation, drags and stabs ( I know that sounds real basic) but these are things which I think are most sick about D and help him create flow.... for example at 0.29 your going through the motions a bit and filling if that makes sense Would be really interested in seeing a slow beat with more funk style killing it tho mate obv.....
  2. Jesus.... looks like every cunt had been banging Heisenberg blue for a week straight.. Wicked skills Jon btw
  3. Fabio was well ahead of the gayme back in the early 90's (not as much as Bukem tho) - I've always thought Grooverider was more of a live party DJ than a creative producer...
  4. Does anyone record using Garageband - if so, can you let me know how you set up the connections as I'm struggling to get an input signal? Cheers...
  5. I am mate, fave producers are Green Velvet, Laurent Garner, aslo like melodic techno like Jeff Mills, Aphex Twin's earlier stuff and Sven Vath.
  6. I like the traditional method of beat matching but that maybe because I spent hours/days/ weeks learning my own mixing style back in the 90's... On a side note, did anyone notice how sick that Richie Hawtin party looked?
  7. It's a belter Matt, wish more places played this kind of shiz in my area!!!!
  8. I see your still rolling with the same wobbly table mang, nice cuts tho....
  9. That would work but why would you need a soundcard? All you need is a those RCA to 1/8th chords people use for ipods. If You have an aux in you can go from the headphone out of the laptop then to the aux in. If you don't have an aux in you can use the channel inputs and set that input on the mixer to line, and it will work as well. If you have anymore questions just ask And if you bought that sound card already or have it and want to use it for whatever reason make sure you select it instead of the built in speakers. To do this click on finder on the dock, then go to Apple > System Preferences > Sound > Output, the sound card should be their, if it isnt then it is not compatible from out of the box and you will have to google for some drivers. Most sound cards and such work right out of the box with mac though. worked a treat by altering the sound settings, thanks man!
  10. Do you use a soundcard with when scratching over loopers etc ? I use this http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR195400 and it says it should be Mac compatable but doesn't work, any idea's?
