motosega Posted November 5, 2012 Share Posted November 5, 2012 equipment threads are often full of bragging about what nice expensive kit people have got, i shall be bucking this trend by bragging about how little i paid for all this stuff. probably less than 700 euros in total. 350 for the laptop, 100 for the soundcard, 40 for the triggerfinger, 15 for the mixer, 140 for the decks, 5 for the headphones. you could buy a new mixer for that! nearly all of this stuff was second hand and most of it was broken when i got it, apart from the laptop and the soundcard. the mixer i got for is a stanton sk 2f with a focus fader v1 i paid 15 EURO at a flea market, it had a broken line/phono switch, which i replaced. the ttx1s came from ebay, one worked perfectly and the other was badly fucked up but cost 10 euro to fix. still need to get needles/carts though i'm using the ones that the decks came with, which are shit. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
