Steve
You can now stream this on Mixcloud: - I wouldn't download it from there though, as I had to compress it quite a bit so I could upload it there.
Chris
I'll listen as soon as I can Steve!
djfoly
This is really good mix tape. The tracks are a mix of timeless classics, amazing stuff I've never heard before and some just mental stuff that I was not expecting. The thing that stood out for me most though was the technical stuff. The mixing and cutting you've done on here makes it a really enjoyable listening experience. Dope Steve, now you need to do a golden era one. I'll expect it next week!
mattnice
just getting this now,i'll bump this in my work van next week

Steve
I dunno if it's the DJ Format (it appears to be), but he commented on this mix on SoundCloud and said he'd like to promote it. Perhaps it's just some fool using his name, but if it's the real dood, that's really cool!
doppelkorn
Ah dowp! How did he come across this?
Wax On
I think he was on my mass email - can't confirm that's where he saw it, but I'm gonna take credit anyway
Steve
It has to have been man, cos I don't see how else he would have caught on to it. Thanks a lot for the help you've given me in promoting this! The feedback I've had from this has been wicked. It gave me a buzz like I haven't had from DJing since I played my first live gig. Wax On
Man, its a shit hot idea, well executed. I'm surprised its never been done before tbh. Hopefully Pipomixes will pick up on it as well as Kevin Nottingham. It wouldn't hurt for you to get in touch with both of them too I reckon. Steve
Have you got any web addresses of blogs I could contact? I need to step up my promotion game!
Wax On
http://www.pipomixes.com/http://kevinnottingham.com/ at one point i just searched music blogs and gathered up a load of email addresses. It doesn't hurt to do, even though i've only had odd bits here and there. None of my mixes have your USP though. The times my web traffic has gone up has been from posts on the above sites. djfoly
If you give me a solid link I'll put it on my blog. I can confirm that this is the sort of thing that DJ Format (or Matt to me) would be into.
Jimmy
nice one steve, its not a secret this isnt my kind of thing, but i def appreciate the effort you've gone to for this mix. its great to see it being so well received, and by ur soundcloud stats alone, its looking extremely popular. im happy for you man, you deserve it. and links with dj format. mental! Steve
Cheers, Jimmy! I'm amazed by those SoundCloud stats. It's hit the 100 download limit and had 245 plays in 2 days. It's been downloaded over 1,300 times via the MirrorCreator links. I hope I don't sound like I'm bragging, cos I'm just really pleased! I didn't expect that at all. It was the real DJ Format. He contacted me today, although I haven't got back to him yet (I'm about to do it now). He asked if I was Wax On, so he must have picked up on it through Wax, so thanks for that mate! Joe - Thanks mate. Could you use one of the links in the first post to put it on your blog? Those are all of the links I have as I don't have any dedicated hosting for it.
