  1. Who's all coming to this one? Thanks Rock Well!!
  2. Yeah its cool! It has the sample for organized konfusions 'the extinction agenda' on it! Which is one of my favourite beats ever!!
  3. Dan That sample is from herbie hancocks raindance
  4. Cheers guys! Enjoyed it immensely defo get in touch with Tom to organise getting involved really want to see this night grow! Such an open relaxed vibe in the place! I've got a few ideas for the future!! F
  5. Yeah I love this! Nice one Si and friends
  6. Just for the record! Having known the fellae since 98/99 Ritchie Ruftone is one of the nicest and most respectful guys you will ever meet! I popped over to see him for a cut earlier this year with my girlfriend who promtly decribed him as one of the nicest people she'd ever met! (Cheers btw)!! Also just because you stumbled across a pattern one day during a 12 hour session doesn't really mean anything could have been any one of us! If he was making shit squiggly line videos calling himself ritchazoid and annoying everyone trying to cut that would be biting! If he invented that pattern then cool thanks call it the ruckazoid shuffle and move on! Thanks for adding to the collective scratch pool!! What does he want a hat and a balloon??
  7. They are too busy having sex instead of fucking about with lame ass berdy hobbies! If I could have sex whenever I wanted I would be shit at scratching!
  8. I get to a point where I'm just about to give up and someone will tell me about something! Most recently it was 'captain murphy' something to do with flying lotus (whoever he is)! But what I heard was amazing! The vinyl is £299 on discogs! So I will have to enjoy it future style! Anyone know if anything else that I might like?
  9. Yeah its a busy venue so I think that was part of it! Also sounsci has quite a few links to brighton!
  10. The highlight was running into me at the soundsci gig though right? Right? Huh? Was nice to see you too! You didn't look that old!
  11. This has ruined my fucking life!
  12. I just don't care if they have it! When I listen to a mixtape and like the songs I go out and get the ones I can. I dont then go straight out and put them all on a mixtape and pretend that I was the only one to ever do it! At the end of the day we didnt make the music lets all enjoy it!
  13. You've always been a cunt mate.
  14. I remember Jon saying about guys coming up and askin loads of stuff and the biting his while set obviously thats a wack game but asking about a record you really like here and there to a fellow dj? Its just so ghoulish!
  15. My mate recently asked a fellow dj about a record on one of his mixes! He was told that the policy of the nameless dj was that basically he didnt tell other people what he was playing! Where does everyone stand in this? As someone who was so firmly vinyl back in 2007 I have almost come full circle and cannot handle the bullshit of it! My resonse would've been fine ram it up yer geer then ya dos cunt! Ps hiya everyone!
  16. LOL! Yo did anyone video their show at the BBQ I missed it because I had to go and dj to no one for hardly any money!
  17. I liked it bro. Great routine. In terms of criticism (I'm not routine expert) I disagree with Broke. The Cypress juggle is dope and my favourite part of the routine. I like the rayban vision juggle but I'd prefer if you had done a fully Old School set and made as funks as it could be with a dope ass vocal cut up juggle and some trick mixing. Although I know its 2012 and you're trying to win the DMC's. I think you know you need to tighten it up (Flu etc) especially the cutting with the up fader cut outs! I always look forward to your sets though man technically I think they are some of the most advanced out there at the moment and bags of funk too. Well done young man!
  18. If it's good it's good. Recently I look at rap videos and they look like the whole style is out of a fashion magazine which is pretty much dominated by gay men in terms of production design, or so I'm told by the media anyway. I don't think it will be a massive difficulty for the young folk of today to accept gay rappers their culture has much more gay imagery and focus than ours did. This is neither bad nor good but rather a reflection of society! Fair play to them, but I'll stick to Eric Sermon ;P
  19. Most of our boogie tape was live and used only a space echo pedal and some post mix touch ups. I think there is a difference between using studio equipment for its main function which is tightening things up. Our mix was pretty simple but I thought that suited the music. Pushing buttons is OK if they are triggers for samples but what I hate is people going MMMMMMMM Music is GGGGGGGG Great and expecting us to be impressed. Its too linear in its sound and stabs can produce the same effect but with a lot more funk. MPC beats are made on buttons I'm not calling preemo a cunt......
