Sorry didn't notice someone had posted here lol. But yeah I just use a pencil for the initial outline and then I do a second outline with a fineliner or whatever I have. If I do it full color then I color it in first before I add the second outline. For walls I use Belton or Montana cans with various caps for different things. Would have worked better with a black background instead of green, and then the Space Invaders in pink, yellow etc. like they are in the video game. Soren Posted August 15, 2011 Author Share Posted August 15, 2011 Not too expensive if you go to specialised graff shops and buy in bulk. Chrome & Black in Shoreditch charges about 3 quid per can I think. If you make an appointment at the Graphotism store you can get cheaper, but you have to spend at least £50. I prefer Molotow Belton to Montanas which can be a bit thin sometimes in the brighter colors. I'd probably use about 10 can's for a piece that size (not including the other guys pieces) depending on how many colors I use. But then you'll always have leftovers that you can use again so sometimes I only have to buy maybe 5-6 cans to do a piece. For the background I always just use rollers and cheap wall paint for undercoating or if the background is just a plain color. For proper productions/murals with detailed backgrounds you're probably looking at about 20 cans each. But that depends again on who does the characters, background etc. I like roller stuff for bombing. Like KEGR's stuff from Copenhagen and REVS & COST from NYC.
