Hey, Havent posted in a while, too busy with work So my brother sends me a message and asks if i want to buy some technics for a good price. I dont really have the time anymore but I ask him to proceed in a manner not too dissimilar to Mr Burns. Turns out his friend has a pair of limited edition 1200's to which he tells me they were "the last 2". I ask him to ellaborate which means that they were the last 2 sold, but not made unfortunately. so I told him to throw me some pictures my way. My first reaction was, ohh why did he have to scribble all over them.... so I had to ask the question, ok, so whats with the platters? He explained that when he was younger he used to do the warmup slot at Gatecrasher but would haul these decks there everytime and would replace the standard installed ones foir the night so long as the headling act would sign the platters. I can make a few names out such as DJ Sneak, Roger Sanchez, Subliminal, Darren Emmerson, so mainly dance DJ's. I have no idea if these things are valauble or not. He said there are only 3 sets in the UK (although the plate on the deck clearly states UK edition number 867). He is going to throw them on ebay sometime soon, but said i would check here to see if anyone was interested before he did. I cant remember what price he said he would sell them to me for. I will have to ask him again. Anyone interested or know anything about these ?

Im always on the look out for the little details in adverts that you see but dont notice... the camera angle being top down making the decks look like boobies and at the end with the shure carts on show (when you read it you read it as "sure" to reassure you) was it intentional having the male and female symbols at the same position (as in both points hitting the 12 oclock poistion at the same time) ?

Ive had a 44-7 needle bend 90 degrees to the side (no idea how it happened) but i bent it back with my fingers and it still runs and sounds like new. I find ortophons make an awful scraping noise against the vinyl... which is just horrid!

Tetris on the gameboy was pretty easy for me... completed both modes quite easily although never quite made it to japanese league though Bejewled... damn addictive and gots me some crazy scores. Stopped playing though becasue it was eating my life!

Im probably going to be getting this soon on X-box.... shame it will all be in german though. How useful is the "radio chatter" at telling you what is going on ?

One of my all time favourite tunes! Started well but got a bit boring in the middle, but rescued it very nicely in fine form at the end! 2.40 was really nice!

i got on special offer about 8 "total war" games/addons.. it cost me about 20 euros. The onyl downside is the downloads are about 20 gig of stuff so i am doing it in 6gig chunks. Another reccomendation is Magica. It look pretty good as a diablo style top down point and clicker but with thousands of combinations of spells to cast

I watched this last night and cant wait now!! I just dont know whether to get it on PC or xbox.... if i get it on PC, then all good... but i wont be able to play with all my friends through xbox [media=''] [/media]

Im still considering whether or not to stream the announcement... depends if there is anything good on the TV... I just cant see anything that they can bring to the table that will make me say... wow... famous last words and all,...

I love these, but im suprised they arent more popular.

I really wish I had some cash in apple shares around 2004... at 7 dollars a pop you could have invested a few hundred quid and forgotten about them. now they are 375 (just short of their 400 high) Thats a great return! I would be very sceptical though in investing in htem now, there could be some rocky roads ahead for the company. As for Jobs though, It sounds like he doesnt have long left on the timer. I hope he doesnt suffer too much...

Ha! I was chewing some gum that id been chewing the 5 hours previous. terrible masticator that I am.... Im from leeds originally, but after spending the last 2 and a half years in switzerland knocking about with alot of brazilians ive developed a a rather wierd slowed down twang... I have a boat load of movie themes and soundtracks. The james bond one is quite good and i strongly reccomend!

looks realyl pretty, but im not such a fan of all that mad on screen action. I couldnt tell what was scripted on hte rails shooting and what was actual player choice though...
