Steve, are you saying we use FLAC then pass the whole mix around rather than just working with snippits. That can definiately be done. When Matt gets it, he can convert it back to WAV to work on it, then convert it to FLAC before sending it to the next person, and so on. Wax On Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 safe, i'm just uploading it now... just to confirm, to try and preserve quality, i imported X's bit into cubase, then recorded my own bit, then applied compression to just my bit, then re imported my bit, then mixed it with X's, then exported the whole thing as wav. this was done so that X's bit wasnt' being compressed again or anything brrrap!
