  1. The photos taken showed 4 different tools, 3 were decoys, one being the tin opener. Lol
  2. Hey suitstusir tbh mate I don't use the 7 inchers anymore. I bought some 10" Serato control vinyl as they are now available with the later timecode and are suited perfectly to the handytrax. Pros: more track time than a 7", no wobble when cutting (unlike a 12") and most importantly no claw hand from cutting them out! Cons: none really If you do decide to get your claw on and cut them with scissors just go at them slowly hence the many pieces of wax shown above. Hope this helps man.
  3. DJShadow.com Anyone having a go?
  4. Sure do Steve...are you interested in one i've done or have you got something else in mind? Grandmaster Flash on canvas - £130 delivered (UK only) Kool Moe Dee approx 52x38cm on 1/4" MDF - £65 delivered (UK only) PM me...
  5. Bit of a joint effort wit mrdee on this one....Mr Midknights laptop... "Flying blind on a rocket cycle..?"
  6. Grandmaster Flash sprayed onto 60x60cm box canvas. Kool Moe Dee sprayed onto MDF board. Making time to get back into the painting again, got a few projects on the way just thought i'd give you a look at my new stuff so far. Let me know what you think, any of the above are available in different colour variations. Cheers for lookin...
  7. I got some hair clipper oil at home. Does it work well? I would've thought it would clog a lot at the end of the rails? I've been using a tiny drop of duck oil which does seem to work but gets a bit sticky after a while.
  8. I'm after some Caig FaderLube its recommended by Rane but not available in the UK. Do you live anywhere near a Radioshack diggle?
  9. Nice one! Gonna give that a try myself. Cheers.
  10. Firstly i'll say the best way to do it is purchase a pair of Mr Clean - "Whats Going On?" 7"'s on Jazzman, they've got the Serato tone on the flip! The 12's we hacked down to make 7's work a treat but they DON'T have a run in strip at the beginning. So when you needle drop at the start the tune on SSL doesn't start at the beginning, even though you can alter this in the settings, it still doesn't work so well. All we used though was a good pair of scissors and cut slowly and only take small pieces off as you go. You've got plenty of cutting area to practice on before you get near the 7" size required. Also we only did it 1) because they were only available if you happened to be in the right place at the time ie: freebies at Namm! and 2) I bought my SSL off a beta tester guy and he had 4 spare CV1's with it as well as a pair of CV2's. Oh and one more thing if you are gonna get the scissors out....anticipate the CLAW hand!!!!!!
  11. where were we.... Ah! Yep i'll help out with the intro wherever i can. What you got in mind tho Steve? We could alter our Simpsons DV collab mix 2 intro to say "digital veeeeertigooooo FM!"
