rygon Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 i reckon a new section is needed for ppl to put there own mixes/songs etc into itas a lot of stuff is going ignored. i see mattnice has posted some more stuff up...if ppl like what they hear its very difficult to find more stuff from him..aand it seems a lot of stuff goes ignored, maybe because they dont see it (ive had it when opening this page up ive looked at a couple of posts before having to close the sight..when i open it up again some posts r missing from the prvious time i looked anyway im babbling...just amake a place that ppl can put there own stuff in that is easy to find Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I agree with rygon. Edit: Rygon, if you don't close a bracket then the grammar goblins will get you and everything you say from now on will be in the context of that post In 10 years time you could write a crazy philosophical text which (unbeknownst to the people reading) will actually be reffering to a new DV section. How about scrapping The Beatbox section and changing it to a user's files section for beats, songs, mixes etc.? Then we wouldn't have more sections making the board look cluttered. Do we need to keep the beats separate from everything else? It depends what the other mods think, but I've noticed the lack of feedback being given recently and I think making a section for user's files may help. Beats to cut over wouldn't need to be kept separate from mixes and tracks if people labelled their posts to reflect the content within. Perhaps posts that contain beats to cut over could be titled starting with [] at the beginning so that people browsing through can quickly find some. I don't know. Just a suggestion. Then again, if they didn't it would be their loss if people didn't check it out. I've put it to the other mods anyway so we'll see what they think and then make any changes if need be. I think you would have to set some rules up for posting mixes and stuff like that so like you said you could tell it apart. And if the people start slacking just get it modded. I wouldnt mind doing that, have to contribute somehow, but yea if not the mod of that section would just have to straighten it out and keep reminding people to name it correctly, that way after a while people would get the hang of it.
