but how will they tell the difference between legal d/ls and illegal ones...a lot of ppl make music and share it for free using p2p networks...are they going to going to find who owns each one and then prosecute accordingly..seems a waste of time and money

ive got a cdj200, the 3 fx on it are ok but dont really use them, the platter feels a bit flimsy but apart from that it is great to use for mixing. Took a bit of time to get used to it (mainly on how to cue up a song) but apart from that it seems to do what i want it to without having any hissy fits...im even thinking of buying another as its great at the price i bought it for

i think that even if you arent playing vinyl and you have a bad ground then you will hear the feedback. Id look at the amp personally. Is this grounded with the mixer?? have you got your wires into the speakers/amp/mixer properly. Start of with one deck....make it the most basic setup you can then fault find from there...change channels/leads/speakers/decks/needles etc and see how it goes..make sure all the levels are set to no more than 0dB as anything over will give you a certain amount of distortion..go too far and it clips the level giving looadds of distortion (>8dBapprox)

im not that bothered if it sounds good...to me dmc should become less about technical scrathcing and more about building the tune up like c2c. they sound melodic with some good scratching and above all a great structure to the set. Im sure theres more like that but im not that much into it at the mo. then again thinking about it what is the benefit f custom records..they still have to be good scratchers and find the samples they want to put down..the only benefit i can think of is the time it takes to cue up the next part (unless they loop samples on the custom wax..then thats cheating)..so why should the djs be judged on how fast they can change pne vinyl for another

i think you buy it off their website only. I know the charlatans new album is available for free on xfm.co.uk Not out yet but the 1st single will be put on it in 3wks time

yeh i had this thing as well (not with kspy). all i remember is that it took me ages to delete it (seem to remember it was in a temp file called z.log or something to that effect) used spybot, adaware, cwshredder, and kspy and it disappeared http://forums.techguy.org/windows-nt-2000-...vice-virus.html may help (i think i reinstalled that csrss.exe as well)

how long have you had it steve....Not too up on my legalities but i thought you would have a warrenty with decks.co.uk for normally a yr...if its been shorter than that then you should be sorting it out with decks.co.uk and to m-audio as its their problem (no matter what they say) may be worth ringing CAB up to see what rights you have for it

no idea but have you tried using vlc player or real alternative as those 2 play everything (if they work on vista that is)
