Deft Posted March 26, 2005 Share Posted March 26, 2005 Plasa is every Sept at Earls Court, London.It's an sound and lighting trade show / open day.Attracts a lot of dj style peeps. It's o.k., you can hassle equipment people but you always end up knackered at the end of the day and it always seems a bit of an anti-climax. The X-100 has lower grade alpha faders (like the Pioneer-707/909 upfaders I would guess), the X-300 has the P&G crossfader we all know and love. The X-300 looks good on paper but I know Gizmo has some reservations about decay time style problems - which I can believe considering they dropped the ball hard on the X-1500 (though that is now fixed). But the interfacing of the mixers is totally different, considering the X-1500 has digital goings on.Dunno - haven't corroborated it yet myself, but I trust Giz's gut instinct!
