  1. only one i've done business with is www.CustomRecords.com real good quality and price, imo. I think there's a review up at skratchworx.com too.
  2. Dig the groove, I like it the way it is. If the level is a lil lower in the mix it won't clash with any other cuts. I vote keep it, but lower the volume a lil on the cut.
  3. Clownstyle's long lost brother? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> shhhhhhhhhhhhh.... dun tell no one.
  4. Here it is, it's just a beat, clean drums like a live kit. Left it totally solo so someone could cut the bassline, quitars, horns ect... instead of everyone just doing some cuts over some instro. lets make a kickass comp. link - http://s49.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2FGJKL3...B50YV3B719EZVS0 filename is - DVbeat_March05_90bpm.mp3
  5. got a beat, soon as i wake up(i'm a bowl away from bed), i'll be on AIM to shoot it to whomever wants to upload where folks can download it. I won't have access to my crews server till next week sometime so i don't have anywhere to host it. it's about 1:25 long encoded @ 256kbps weighs in around 2.5mb clean drums for the massessss
  6. cool cool... anyone got any bpm suggestions, i personally like the 75-90 bpm range, but i know some folks like it faster and some slower.. sigs, your idea, you make the call brova, i'm down for anything but the 120-150 range. i'll have it up either late tonight or in the morning(depending on if my mate's girl lets him out the house tonight)
  7. it depends, alot of times i start from a simple beat, add bass or melody, then leads, etc.. sometimes i find a dope sample i wanna work around and start from there. and again sometimes i've got a bassline or piano riff in my head i start with. just depends really, no set way of doing things. keeps the creative juices flowing, but if i find myself jsut wanting to work, i start with the beat.
  8. nice 1, i'm down. don't have my decks hooked up b/c i'm packing to move, but i could bust out a loopable beat with some changes no prob.
  9. With a skateboard in hand.. who'd a fuckin thunk it, eh
  10. god this is tooooo easy, he's not famous b/c he doesn't have a shit messageboard where he voices his disdain for all those making music except himself... If he'd only remind us weekly of the sad state of music and everthing he does is gold. He also needs to berate everyone that has an oppinion (even if it's the same as his), needs silly alias's kissing his ass, and last but not least needs to remind himself by telling us that noone "gets" his music b/c it's all over our heads... that'd get him "famous", seems to work for other people..
  11. no, i'm not. ruin your faders, do i care, no. The plastic over the strips is presicely the reason caig does NOT go on the strips. it has been discussed a million times and it's not changed, caig is BAD for your png strips. PERIOD. sorry dude, but you're a loomin....
  12. NOT on PnG faders, LIKE I SAID, they're(png) made differently than Alps/PCV faders. it wears the coating over the strips off, it is NOT good for PnG faders.
  13. DO NOT put any type of caig on anything but the RAILS in a PnG. NEVER use it on the conductive strips, they are made differently, all you should ever need to do to them is clean it with warm, soapy water.
  14. nah, it's the only anti-vi i run, i just run Ad-watch pro with it to stop any regestry changes without my approval and do the daily scan with ad-aware pro. i've got a firewall already. got a link to kaspersky, although i'm not buying anything else. i've got a full version (registered and all) of norton for free that gets the job done and i highly doubt i'll be changing that unless it's for something else free. i just need to know how to turn the bloody thing off. i really don't wanna hear norton this/that, just how to turn it off. if all else fails i'll just not get online on this computer (all i have to do is go upstairs and use the one in the office.)
  15. Alright, i run system works and a few other anti-virus/spyware/regestry edit programs while i'm connected to the net. they run fine no probs etc.. the problem comes in when i disconnect and want to work on some music. everything else turns off fine, but norton won't stop hogging ALL my resources. I've gone through and turned everything off manually in it, but to no avail, it's still running and eating up my proccessor. any tips on how to shut the goddamn thing off totally?
