Guest It'sPhilFromThursdays Posted June 28, 2014 Share Posted June 28, 2014 The next one should be August 24th in SSS spiritual home at Dubba and Rockwell's scratch bunker in Rye, i believe, as it will be the weekend of the Community Scratch Games show in Brighton. Everyone from SSS (bar the heritic Kut Class who goes to some festival, bah! ) will go to that on the Saturday and then have a big scratch up at SSS on Sunday. Lots of people like Sy and Eric go straight from Brighton to Rye on Saturday night after CSG and sleep at the scratch bunker, usually having a crafty cut until the small hours in the morning. I'm sure i speak for the other guys when i say you would be welcomed with open arms so come on over, dude. GWS man! Cheers dude. Recovery seems to be going well so it's looking good, though i think it's gonna heal more bent than i thought. In other good news, I caught nearly all of Manipulate's performance perfectly - line in audio, clear view, minimal shaky cam, etc. I watched many times yesterday and it's fucking immense. As long as the man himself doesn't mind, I'll get the sections cleanly cut together and share as soon as. Re: Mo's sausage incident. There was a strange moment when myself and Eric were outside enjoying the BBQ and Mo dangled out the pub window, grabbed the biggest sausage there and promptly disappeared off with it. Fucking great to see everyone and really nice that Darcy came after not seeing him for ages (and that Mo made it). Wicked to see Maschine Matt after not seeing him for tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmme, we gotta hook up 4 jamz when we're both fixed. Though it might have seemed otherwise i had a good time, bar being in super pain and being insanely frustrated at not being able to cut. I felt like one of those dudes who goes to the set when his gf does porn and anxiously watches from the sidelines, feeling useless, as she's banged by like 50 dudes and a hundred hugely experienced lesbians. Basically, i'm calling out SSS for being 100 lesbians. Great to see Manipulate cut it up and to have a chat. AND FOR HIM TO ASK SY TO DO CSG!!!! HAHA, "Who the fuck is this?" <off camera>. Last time I looked, it was much cheaper, but right now it's around $1200 US. I can fly to Costa Rica for half that, and CR is at the top of my destination list, so will probably go there first. Will periodically check UK fares though to see if they come down. I really want to get over there and skratch with a grip of y'all. Peace. DJ Rock Well Posted July 4, 2014 Share Posted July 4, 2014 We haven't replaced you... you're just running the SSS South Korea office now (behave yourself or your likely to be moved to our North Korea division). Yes, Manipulate handles the camera very well (and that was after several pints and absolutely no warmup, with no skipless records, wobbly table, etc), but that's mostly because he's very very good. Although I hear what you're saying about us lot upping our video game - there's not much point in recording too much more free for all, 10 man, Aaahh cuts with ambient audio and lots of shouting in the background - we've covered that thoroughly now. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
