sasquatch
i've noticed the cut in on my xs-4 isnt as quick as my hak320 (as in the fade is fine, but it cuts in away from the edge of the fader), and it doesnt have the same metal squares inside as my hak, so how can i mod this to made it a quicker cut? Blak Randy
Put in a vestax alps click plate. you cut the sides off and it fits in perfect. As long as you cut it correct you will take about 1.5 mm off each side of the fader and give you a super sharp cut in time.

stalk
the credit card mod kinda sucks coz the plastic will chip away with the time. vestax click plate mod is the best for that mixer.
iexist
they make a png for the xs-4? i used the credit card mod until i got my png, but afterawhile it was almost like you "wore it out", and would lose some of the cut. what is this vestax cut plate you speak of? nice av diss. city of god owns me! stalk
I don't thnik you can buy the cVestax click plates separately. I just used the click plate of a broken alps that I had around here.

Steve
Does anyone have a spare click plate? I'd like to try this mod out, because my faders can't be opened unless I de-solder them and I can't be arsed with all the messing about.
