Mixologist
I got reason off of bitcomet, but idk how to open it or anything, there's some .rar files but there are also a crap load other files and it's 3 discs, any ideas?
rygon
have you tried making it an iso file then playing it through a virtual drive (or from a cd) if not i think you ill have to extract each .rar into a folder then go from there (thats what i had to do when opening cubase...one .rar had a setup.exe in the last part and once very other .rar had been extracted it would allow you to install the program)

rygon
use nero and it allows you to burn the cd as an .iso file
Guest Deeswift
Mixo, what files did you get? I presume you don't let Windows "hide extensions for known file types". If you do, turn it OFF. Burning to a disc is not needed. Download Daemon Tools and install it. You now have a virtual DVD/CD drive. Right click the icon in the system tray and point D-Tools to the folder that Reason is in. If you have .ISO files, mount them in D-Tools and install from there. We need more info on what files came in the .RAR's though.
$a!n+
YOu have to burn them to CDs to install. On CD for the program, and two diferent soundbank CDs. You have to install all off a CD and not from your drive.
Guest Deeswift
But D-Tools emulates a CD drive. It should work exactly like any other ISO.
Mixologist
i don't believe there were any .iso files i'll check when i got back to my grandmas place, thanks guys, i'll check out daemon tools too
Guest $mooth
If they aren't ISO's u can still mount them in D-Tools as long as they are in a .rar or .zipI'm not sure if u can just mount a normal folder tho, so, zip em up.
Clownstyle
If you have just got folders you need to get a program called winiso i think its called. Convert the folders to iso format then mount in deamon tools. Hope this helps
Mixologist
alright i'm extracting, the .rar files, and in the rar there is one .bin file so i'm guessing i have to take that bin and convert it to an .iso and mount that onto daemon am i right? Max
Mount the .bin file using D-Tools. It's capable of mounting them. Then open up the virtual drive created using the bin file and install.

dissonance
did you get the three disc version? if so....you install disc one....the program disc. disc two is sound files...as well as disc three. what you need to do, get the first disc installed. then when it asks for the second...right click the daemon tools icon and unmount that image, and mount disc two (after extracting of course)...follow that procedure for disc three. it worked for me.
