Darcyd
I'm sure this can't be the first time the question has been asked, but i could not find another thread. I'll admit i only spent 10 seconds trying to find one.
DJ Rock Well
I used to cut them out of the poly inner sleeves you get on some records (Japanese ones always have these kind), now using the proper ones that came with my Tablecloth slipmats. ericuk
I brought frosted plates and flying carpets from thud rumble. Could never go back now!
doppelkorn
Frosted Plates are good but the Technics Speedmat that came with one of my 1210s is my favourite. The best thing about Frosted Plates is that you can customise them with your own RAD GRAFF DESIGNS. scottie(the)goonie
D-styles clothes, but I wish I had the ability to cut on any slipmat. When I use a friends table that isn't buttery, I feel handicapped. I have a friend who can scratch well on just about any type of mat. d00ban
Has any one figured out how to get rid of static from the plastic bits yet? When that shit gets stick you might as well not even have it on the bottom there!

I had a lot of fun and long nights working on them.

Mine pair is pretty ratty. Wish he'd come out with a 2.0 version. Although I guess I could make a pair. You know what it is, right? The black material from under a couch or chair. jam
yo if u want some extra slip no 'matter' yr choice of mat, then sparay a tiny amount of deoxit on a cloth then wipe yr platter down, did it by accident the other week, once i felt the results i sprayed the other one
stingray
None. I use butter rugs. The plastic can make extra static and actually create more friction/inconsistency. BTW if you are getting too much static even with your butter rugs etc., grab a dryer sheet and rub it on the platter and backside of the slipmat. It will slow down static electricity build up.
