You can always undo last overdub... multiple layers worth if the multiple layers were all the same take. You could also do 2 separate A/B chorus verse looping take and punch them in and out, but you'd have to do it in a very roundabout way. Traktor wasn't designed to specifically do that, so it's awkward. Dubba could rock it I bet. It'd involve dumping the loops you record into the remix decks and triggering those remix deck cells in and out. The hard part is syncing it all up on the fly because there's a bit of lag with some things in Traktor. Like triggering live loops in sync. There's a few other good workarounds tho. The effects bank also allows you to lay down an independent effect based loop (beat slicer/gater/etc etc), and that loop remains independent from the main group. Thanks for the props boys! The loop recorder is dope, but has its limitations. EDIT!!! Bam. Found a way to get it done. Sick. Ill post a video in future.

Yo! We have 3 extra spots in an AirBnB for Easter weekend CSG XIII in Galway. Fri 19th / Sat 20th / Sun 21st nights = £93.00. 10 minute walk from Eyre square, fully dope pad. It has enough beds for all but a few spots are double beds, so be prepared at the possibility of snuggling next to a deadly DJ or to pass out on a sofa. Fits 10 people total.

Most of my needle jumping/skipping was attributed to my heavy handedness. I'm still fairly heavy handed, but have managed to dial it down enough so that it's not a big deal anymore. Maybe dump a video in this thread of you having a cut with your set up? Might shed some light on the heavy handed thing.

Hahaha! Oh man. Seems like we all returned home slightly knackered with jumbo smiles on our faces. I can't go hard any more. The barmaid stated calling me "Pint of water" at one point! Mt first year back from CSG was mental. I'd literally stayed awake for 3 days straight. I had holes in my trousers and was out of gas beyond belief for the flight home. I looked a homeless playboy that had wandered onto a airplane by mistake!!

I scored myself a second cheap camera recently, so I'm have a go at filming the take from 2 angles and then splicing the footage and audio. I do it all in iMovie, I find the whole process to be a pain in the ass, but am hoping to get better at it as I do it more.
