Jimmy
aka SSS11. Any questions feel free to ask, but i assume everyone on here knows it all off by heart now. Date: August 26thTime: When we wake up / 12pm Address:Unit 3Rother Iron WorksFishmarket RoadRyeEast SussexTN31 7LR my mobile number is 07761208721. As its CSG on the Saturday it looked good to make a weekend of it all. The Hastings boys have very kindly said we can sleep at the studio on Saturday night after CSG, so the main thing we need to sort out is transport/lifts.The monday is a bank holiday too (so im told) so that can be a nice day to recover.Feel free to bring anything if you're attached to a specific mixer. I for example will be bringing the scratchbox and a sleeping bag. everyone happy?

Dubba Dutchdj
May have to in force a kebab curfew pre watershed! Think of what it'll be like for folks turning up on the sunday! from cutting alone Jimmys place stunk of man mid way thru SSS 9 and that "wasn't" after a night of spooning/bonding sleepover followed by no shower, yummy! No worries tho, I could put my air con unit, industrial fan and a shit load of air freshener to good use, by the time we come back from the local greasy spoon it might smell a bit less pornographic. Yes, there's either 4 or 5 hours filmed on what Russ assured me was a "porno camera" - all with an audio feed straight out the master mixer. The guy we borrowed it off will get it uploaded to avi files ASAP, but at the moment he's slammed with doing sound and light for festivals, etc. Hopefully, we can borrow a nice camera again for the next one. Dubba Dutchdj
I think Symatic was talking about CSG vids dummy's Hopefully, we can borrow a nice camera again for the next one. Soon as the dates for SSS were nailed, both cameras (and this time a camera man) were booked. Been pestering my very busy vid friend relentlessly for the last couple weeks to start work on the last one, we're gonna have a look next week, over 4 hours of footage to sift thru, think gonna be pretty board of the aaahhh sound by the end of that eve

Dubba Dutchdj
Yep! The static camera was just left on record, only stopping when the tape needed changing.
Yoshi
I have most of the footage from the CSG last year. I gave it all to Richard, but I guess he never got round to editing.

Motek
I assume traffic will be bonkers on the Saturday, with it being a bank holiday. Seeing as we dont need to take turntables I am wondering if a train journey may be easier / less stressful. Any thoughts?
ericuk
for me it depends how much it costs... trains can be cheaper than fuel or skankdown business!
Motek
Its about 40quid return,

DJ Rock Well
The Brighton to Rye leg would be another £15. But the real problem is that once you're here, getting back to London would be best to go via Ashford (about 1 hour 15 mins, not the massive dogleg via Brighton). So even though London to Brighton, Rye to Brighton and Rye to London are three fairly painless train journeys, I think it would count as three separate train tickets and be pretty expensive. Actually thinking about it, the £15 to Brighton is a day return and would be more expensive on two different days.
