Vekked
Congrats to broke on winning the first juggle battle, maybe Yoshi can add him to the battle winners thread. Going to go with the same format as the first, hopefully get some of the people who didn't get a chance to enter in the last one. Don't think there's sense adding any restrictions unless we get more participation right? Ok here goes: Juggle Battle Rules: (1) Deadline is July 31st(2) Must be one-take.(3) 90 second or less.(4) Any track allowed.(5) Serato is allowed, cue points are allowed but bear in mind it's a juggle battle and not a cue point battle, use them just to cue up parts to juggle.(6) Post on here once you upload the file. ELGEE
can we do two mins for the next battle?
Vekked
Yea we could def consider doing 2 mins. I mostly wanna do whatever most people want. I figured keeping it shorter might be a bit better since a lot of people have very little experience making juggles so the longer the limit the more they're going to struggle making a juggle, or making a reasonable juggle maybe... but it's def not out of the question

Vekked
Nice man, really funky, that's the kinda stuff I wanna see, haha. Killed it. Only thing I can say is from a technique perspective it's definitely way easier to learn how to backspin the right side (guessing your weaker side?) instead of winding it back. Your hand gets in really awkward positions to release the record (as you probably notice), and some of your quicker patterns would be cleaner/easier to pull off without hearing the backscrape if you backspin instead of wind it all the way. It's a really hard habit to break but it's worth it.

Still P.T.U by the Porn Theatre Ushers. It's a pretty well known juggle track I think. DJ Skully put it to good use at :52.

savwar
,looks so much easyer.having the tune selection is obviously brilliant, but i find making up a routine on serato harder.. not that i've done that much so far with it..i used to like setting up loops with stickers and serato just makes that a whole lot different...the tune doesn't dictate the juggle as much in a way.. i don't know what i'm trying to say there really... and with sticker on a record a certain part of the tune is always at the point... not in serato totally, obviously yes, if you always use your cue points at the same part and shit... - again.. anyone understand me? ELGEE
i kinda understand, so it all changes depending on if you use relative/absalute mode etc?
