johnny 1 move Posted November 19, 2008 Author Share Posted November 19, 2008 I guess it's a mirrored OG flare, but I thought it would have a better name... 6 sounds: Start open, forward stroke with one click, finished closed, (2 sounds) Pull back and open (1 sound) push forwards and close (1 sound) open - backstroke with one click, finish ope (2 sounds) Another way to think of it is a normal 2 click orbit but pull the middle two sounds in, same click pattern but sounds 3 and 4 are a reverse slice instead of a normal slice If that doesn't make sense I'll stick it in my wiki and link it, but I was hoping for a better name than "diggla" first ;-) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd just call it original flares, but that's not completely descriptive either because the first 2 clicks and second 2 are different, so I guess it's an original flare followed by a reverse original flare... thinking about this stuff reminds me of how terrible our system for naming scratches it, loll:( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I always thought of orbits as being swapping the direction rather mirroring so an OF flare orbits would be: FFB BBF (with clicks like a normal 2 click orbit) whereas I'm talking about: FFB FBB Dunno though...
