Steve
I was watching Deep Crates 2 yesterday, and in a Japanese record store they had one of these: - Pop the record in, turn the heat on, and in a couple of hours you have a nice flat record. Someone should make a cheap home version.

Steve
I hear Reezy didn't have much success with his first prototype: - http://www.specialtysupplies.com/images/ironbrd.jpg Way ahead of you Stevelol! That looks easy enough to build, although when I said "home version", I didn't mean you could actually live in the fucker.

Wax On
• Cannot repair LP/EPs that have been deformed and damaged by heat i don't massively understand the difference between warped and heat damaged. when i say i don't massively understand, what i mean is i don't understand. Liam
Thing is, I'm pretty certain this will be bad in the long term. Any slight thermal gradient in the plastic will mean some areas of polymer constrict more than others, and after time you're likely to end up with a MORE bent record for your efforts. If you really wanted to correct warping through heat, you would need an extremely slow and even heating process.
