  1. yes, I just ment that I immediately recognized the hats and snares from basic sample packs. I think that took away from the uniqueness of the song. Obviously, only other producers would pick up on that..but to me, I would either layer hats and snares to create a new sound or choose different samples all together. nitpicking yes. But my opinon.
  2. me too. Its starting to take one of those "will it ever get done?" stances.
  3. yes sir. Me and Jo supposed to meet with Hameen next weekend to get down on "our" project. Hopefully it goes down.
  4. DOPE I kept thinking it was the Busta Busta Woo-Haa "guaranteed to give you what you need" scratches are dope even albiet a bit generic. Does that make sense? I dig.
  5. waves bundle is a beast. I've heard tracks where cats used the morph on cuts before, but on more traditional hiphop tracks. this is hard. if I didn't know what I was listening too - I wouldn't have thought they were cuts, but actually keyboards. well done.
  6. would your "voice" be interested in some work? I've got a track on an upcoming project that would be perfect for her. Very much on this particular track's vibe. get at me. voodateach@gmail or PM me.
  7. Now this GOES HARD. I love the filter - works for me. I kinda agree on the snare - not sure if I feel the delay/echo. I think it might be more effective if you lessened the delay so the slaps came more frequently and gave it a more brrrrrrrap sound instead of the brap brap brap ... if that makes ANY sense whatsoever. and yeah.. BEEEEEEEEF this sucka up. I'd be interested it doing some work over this beat.
  8. once the beat drops I'm digging. that big synth is hard. some good underlying percusion here. can't really hear an emcee over this, but I guess it is probably intended for instrumental listens.
  9. I like Monkey - would like to hear that kick beefed up a bit. plus, the hats and snare sound very generic. to me, these two things kinda take away from a pretty well produced/arranged beat. respect though
  10. This is my first post here, but the forum looks pretty dope so I'll stick around. I've been sitting on some of these joints since 2002 so I fiugred I'd go ahead and drop them.
