pittster
K, I got lost for a while now. I was on the DJchat messageboad to get some help, but they are a buch of nerds over there. I need some real down to Earth DJ help. I need a mixer. I got tables, but I need a good mixer. I want live sound, 2 channel, with a smooth crossfader for scratching mixer. I will be doing all the prober functions of DJing. Like beat matching and all the basic djing needs. Give me a hand.

djxander
www.skratchworx.co.uk does great quality reviews on any mixers that could possibly catch you interest.
Liam
I still say the same thing I've always said. Rane 56 in the US, Xone:02 in the UK. Pound for pound both are difficult to beat, it's just the 56 is cheaper in it's native US and the Xone is cheaper in the UK.

Liam
If you're in the US and you've got $400 dollars for a mixer, wait until you got a few bucks more, go the extra mile and get a Rane 56. None of the mixers mentioned have huge differences in features, but three years down the line the 56 will still work like new so it's a wise choice. Alan
The 56 is amazing with the spring mod. Don't take the spring off, just loosen it. It cuts like a dream.

Dub-Se7en
the 06 is a tinny bag of bolts. go for an 05 over an 06. or just get an sa-
3D
I have a 06 with a proX the crossfader is great but the 06rattles like a bastard I really don't like the 06, I have a ttm56next to it there is no comparison really. I would get a sa-5 over a 06, a proX helps but it still a crappy mixer IMHO.

dextrous
Fuck an 06. Seriously. It's all good for a while but in a few months you will regret it.
