  1. I need some help mates. I got swindled when I bought the traktor scratch. I thought I was buying the full version, but what I got was the crossgrade, which is basically the version that will upgrade your current set up to tractor. I am having a big problem with this. I don't have a current version of any program, and all I can do is run the demo. If you know, the demo times out after 30 min. Does any one out there have an idea of what I should do? What program should I get that would help me active my product to it's full potentional. And, please mates, keep the commentary down. I am in need of some serious help.
  2. Yeah, the tracktor scratch looks great. Check out this you tube demo. Yep, I am sold on the tracktor scratch. Even Jazzy Jay Uses it.
  3. No, way guys, I disagree. My DJ teacher has taught me that the true art of DJing is with vynle. Nothing else can substitute for that. Any body can use a computer and push mix and your tracks will be mixed. Here is a youtube of DJ Craze I forgot to mention, beat counters take the art of DJing out. That is why those cd and mp3 turntables have that stuff, even some turntables. Why should I worry about how many beats a song has. I should be able to figure them out in my head.
  4. Staton Final Scratch, Tracktor Scratch, Rane Live Scratch. What is the best? I want the one that is the realest of real. Meaning, No Lag, no delay. I use Vynle, and I want to keep that feel. Also at the same time, I am sorry mates for posting one of those typical topics over and over again. I bet this form gets boring after a while. lol. Well, tell me what is what.
  5. Word up man, I am glad for a dj form like this, because this is where the real dj's are. I am convinced I am going to still stick to vinyl to the very end. Be the real dj not the posers. Thanks again mates. Thanks again.
  6. Hertzworth your my kind of DJ. I am all for the art all the way. Another scary story about vinyl that made me shiver. It not too hard to find records, but what I herd the reason why prices are going up on records is because the equipment they use to make the stuff. It is getting harder and harder to replace that stuff, and it is costing a bunch. I still want to be part of the old ways. I just hope they don't die. Do you think there will be a new dj with a big name like Q-bert or mix master mike? I shure hope so, to keep it alive. Aside from all that what do you think about these things? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Sta...ayer?sku=804043
  7. Dammet all, Dammet all to hell mates. I have finally been fricken convinced that cd turntables are the way of the future. As what is said in "Independence Day" film, "May Our Children Forgive us." The inovation of technolgy has destroyed the true essence of sound. Any ways, any of those true DJ's out there who has once used vinyl can tell me the cd turntables out there that the jog wheel is just as acurate. Let me know.
  8. I just got out of the thred about the stanton sa-5, but what about Rane? Do they make better mixers than Vestax? If so, what are the best ones to get for scratching? I am a vynle user so give me the down low.
  9. K, when I get the tables here, I might have to look at that. I never done anything like that before. Yeah, I am purchasing some Technics. WhooooHooo. So, I sure hope to get the best out of them.
  10. Reason for the worry is because I had the stanton str8-60 truntables and one of them had a lose ground. So, I thought there was something to it. I see that the new Stanton t80's doesn't have one.
  11. YEA BUDDY! DJ'S RULE!!! AND POSERS DRULL!!
  12. I guess the real question is this. Do all Technics have ground connections, and if so what do they look like?
  13. so, tell me though. Is that a bad thing? I mean, I haven't found too many mixers that would support grounds these days, and another fear. What Happens if the ground broke?
  14. Hey mates, yet again, I am not around much, but I have some intresting specs that I am trying to figure out. I am looking at a Technics SL-1200MK2 Turntable. Does the table have a ground connection? I hope that it doesn't, because I am afraid of that. I have had some bad experience with ground connections. Give me some input please.
  15. I was thinking of getting the Vestax PMC pro 6. I don't want to go to far out, I got to live with in my budget too.
