I never knew Macs were so shit with video formats .. I thought it would take any kind of video format.? Problem sorted with a program called m-video-converter for Mac ... It worked perfect. Thank you anyway Phology...

A mate of mine wants to edit some video from camcorder but the cam is 8mm and not digital so I recorded the footage from the cam onto my DVD-recorder harddrive and then put it onto DVD but he can not play or convert the vod files on his Mac ... I thought it might have been issue with the DVD-R but when he brought the DVD back it plays fine on my PC + DVD recorder. I even tried converting the footage to mpg but he still can not do anything with it ??? Any advice / tips / software ???

Yer the "Are you sure,really sure, do you really wanna do you really wanna" is a bit of a pain BUT once you got all the good stuff installed you very rarely see it... Vista reminds me of Directory Opus that I use to use on the Amiga ... Think for anyone new of computers Vista is piss easy to get use to ...

Everytime I convert a pdf file with acrobat 8 pro it puts to tital at the top of the pdf + the address address + orig file nane from were it was converted from at the bottom of each page .. I am sure it will be a simple as untick a box in prefs or something but can not find it and it is really pissing me off cos I have over 50 htm files to conver to pdf for a punter ... Anyone help?
