P&G Maintenance

Matt

Recommended Posts

so my fader cacked up this week, i cracked the fekker open, and it appears that the faderknob has little rubber bits that sit between it and the bar, one on either side of the bottom of the knob

(still with me? hope so)

on mine one of the bits of rubber is coming away from the base of the nob and then jamming up the cut out mechanism.

anyone had the same problem, and what did u do to fix it?

Matt. This happened to mine about 6 months ago and I fixed it and it has never happened again.

The fixing bit is a piece of piss but it caused another problen which I had to fix.

Simply put a tiny bit of superglue aroung the part and glue it back on.

I did this and it works fine but I got a little glue on the inside of the rubber and this made it slightly tight. What I did is get a small pair of scizzors and put them inside of the rubber circle and gently twist them them to dig it out slightly and slacken it up.

Hope that is of some help man.
