Sony also unveiled the PS3's graphics chip, the RSX "Reality Synthesizer," which is based on Nvidia technology. The GPU will be capable of 128bit pixel precision, 1080p resolution, some of the highest HD resolution around. The RSX also has 512MB of graphics render memory and is capable of 100 billion shader operations and 51 billion dot products per second. It also has more than 300 million transistors, larger than any processor commercially available today. It will be manufactured using the 90nm process, with eight layers of metal. The RSX is more powerful than two GeForce 6800 Ultra video cards, which would cost roughly $1,000 total if purchased today.

I like the pad, looks cool to me. It was odd looking at first but I think Sony wouldn't make a duff pad. I expect better vibration tchnology this time too, because as far as I know, Sony licensed the technology from some other company. Maybe now they have their own and managed to improve upon it?

Some nice coverage by Anandtech:

Those controllers will be the BOMB. I'll take a chance and say that it will piss on the Dual Shock / PS2 pad. Should have better motors, better analog control (come on now, the sticks on the Dual Shock were not exactly great), and bluetooth connectivity. PS3 will be able to handle 7 of these controllers. You guys who are doubting them are going on looks alone and not what these controllers will be able to do.
