Guest Deeswift
*drool... Hehe. Interesting effect, DJStickey, how was it done? Did you use Photoshop's threshold and cut-out filter? I have the original picture somewhere which is high quality. The purple one is a bit poo.

Thanks<{POST_SNAPBACK}> im not a photoshop expert.. but just random experimenting (and collaborating ideas with my girl) helps. basically with that headshell tower in the middle of the city thing i did: 1. took a photo2. image>adjustments>brightness/contrast2. filter>artistic>cutout4. changed the color settings (hue, saturation, brightness) image>adjustments>color balance5. added the needle behind and did similar stuff to it6. added the text7. practice cutting

Max
I desaturated a few times throughout the process to get it to a usable black and white. I used some of the liquify effects to soften the graininess of the skin and hair before using the cutout filter.
Guest Deeswift
Liquify is a great tool. I can't count the hours of fun I've had with it!
Max
Yeah when i ran one of the liquify tools over your hair it gave you a perm. It was hilarious.
