Vekked
Thnx for the reply does training the hand muscles have any effect? i'm scratching with my weak hand on the record I wouldn't worry about it, it'll fix itself in a few month. My only practice tip would be "pretend your hand is glued to the record", aka, release the record as little as you can. You can adjust hand placement a bit but just don't let go while you're practicing. The more time your hand spends on the record, the quicker your coordination will develop and you'll naturally have good control of it. But yea, just time + practice will fix your problem, guaranteed.
INFA
Tablecloths are very nice slipmats but Vekked is right. Its getting better but need to learn to aply more pressure to the record with my tiny hands.
Danny Crash
My fingers always seem slightly more moist in summer (cause of the heat I guess, obvs) A nice result of this is I can pull off hydroplanes first go! Whereas if I try them in winter often they don't work cause hands are too dry.
Guest rasteri
I always just give my balls a quick rub. The scrotal moistness helps with record grip.

I learned the other way round and still regret it
INFA
When i have learned a few more scratches and combo's, i want to learn them with the strong hand on the record. Atm this feels more natural. I have verf little patience but making good progress for the time i,m investing.
