Jon
This was hella fun to record and a massive honour to be a part of. All the DJs in this have influenced my development as a turntablist massively. Hai btw.

DJ Rock Well
I'm guessing that was a beat Woody made or at least already had a routine worked out with?
Jon
It's a beat by Bunty, we decided on the beat a couple of weeks before, so he would have made it during that time
DJ Rock Well
Thanks Jon! BTW, you've said before that when you're in this high level of scratch company, you sometimes regard yourself as the weakest link... just for the record, that's not at all how it comes across watching it. As ever, your own style comes across as strong as anybody's IMO.
Jon
Aww thanks mate. That's exactly how I feel about the situation (being the weak link I mean). Everyone in the video was at least a UK if not a World champ by the time I'd discovered what DJ battles were. I was super honoured to be asked to take part. Btw, for the record Ritchie Ruftone and JFB were invited too but neither could make it down, in case anyone was wondering why they weren't involved too. I suggested Chile and Manipulate as additions to the lineup as well (and even picking just a couple of names out of the UK's turntablists was tough) but it was already a pretty stacked video.

I told him the same thing, I thought he sounded right where he belonged considering the lineup on the cut is about as heavyweight as it gets.

Dubba Dutchdj
Yeah totally agree with what RockWell said about Jon and as Vekked says, definitely deserves a place amongst the UK's top table. Old man river at the end.... fucking dope!
Chris
HOLY FUCKING SHIT this is an awesome video. not a single weak moment. Jon's cue/scratch section was amazing, woody's c1 stuff was the best c1 stuff i've ever seen, muzzell's crazy on-pointness and speed, and just generally a high standard all round. DJ Rock Well
It's a custom mod that cuts the left deck on both sides of the fader. No need to hit the fader reverse button.
