Darcyd
I have a line on a cheap serato sl3....... but it will not be worth it to me if i cannot fully use it when i return to north america. I know it's usb and adapter powered, but will i be able to FULLY use the unit if it's only usb powered when i return to North America...... alternately will the sl3 accept a north american power adapter ...are they 110-240 like Rane's mixers? Mike-L
When I had an sl3 it came with loads of different plug adapter fittings for the different national systems. I can't think why they'd do that if the power supply itself was not universal.
motosega
just take the adapter to a good electronics shop and tell them you need a us style adapter to replace it with.electricity is electricity it dosent matter what brand name is written on the adapter, if it is a universal 110/220 adapter it will say so on the label. if it dosent say so, then it won't work (and will probably fry) if your really paranoid, i'm sure native instruments will supply a replacement adaptor. Dub-Se7en
not got an sl3, but the sl1 is bus powered, so adapter is not necessary. even if it's needed, it'll be just a 5v dc adapter that's required that you'll get from anywhere
