Frost
Haven't bought a scratch record in years and need some new samples, my birthday and christmas coming n all that. Looking sorta specifically at spoken word/rap samples like 'cut like a guillotine' and, well, you guys know whats good stuff like this. Is it the same price everywhere or anywhere in particular you would recommend? super seal 2 worth getting? ta
Jimmy
i asked myself this question a while back, i decided to just get serato. it solves alot of problems, especially once i got the setting right.
Frost
i'd love to get serato but i don't play any gigs any more, don't have a great deal of money and would prefer spending money on other things. oh, and my first born will be arriving soon, may as well throw that in their too. (Not literally)
Jimmy
fair points man. I understand its more of a 'nice to have' .Admittedly i bought mine to enable me to be lazy.

Frost
^^^ ^^^ haha. Well I went for 'Spaghetti Seal - Kombat Kuts' in the end, £18 off Juno. Apparently there's differences in the volume versions of something, dunno which one I've got though. Here's a review anyway:
djdiggla
Thud Rumble has all slip mats and vinyl for $10 thru the end of the weekend.
Dopez
I was hoping Superseal in the 4th Dimension would be $10... they're not stupid. It's all good though. Kombat Kuts is a pretty fresh record, love the vocal samples, lots of options for manipulation. Have fun!
djdiggla
Yeah, kinda false advertising IMO but guess it's just qbert's thud recs or something. Also their shipping sucks
