Vekked
Other than Ahhh and Fresh, what would they be? This is sort of an unnofficial poll to get some ideas for a section on a possible new scratch record/tool coming out. For this part I'm not looking for anything necessarily original, as it's going to be geared towards scratch practice mostly, but I'm looking mostly for 'timelessness' here, so like go-to practice samples as opposed to ones you skip over usually when you're having a cut. Vekked
Bahaha, ok yea maybe we need some audio samples or references to other records that have them, since it looks like it might be difficult deciphering what the samples are through trying to type the sound... Chris
the two lady moans, aw yeah, one of the 'uuh's, one of the 'say what's, and one of the 'word's. it is a bit tough without audio to explain which ones, though!

Vekked
it is a bit tough without audio to explain which ones, though! Yea no doubt, thanks for the suggestions guys. At some point in the next 2-3 weeks (whenever finals slow down) I'll post up some audio of all the samples I think you're suggesting and get people to pick them out. doppelkorn
Not that I can but if I could I would chop up "that boy needs therapy" from Frontier Psychiatrist all day. EDIT: just watched that vid for the first time in years and forgot how good it is. Possibly my fave ever music video. My dad's, for anyone interested, is "Hey Ya"

doppelkorn
It's really interesting how people have chosen nice vocal smaples instead of sounds or fresh and aaahhh (even though these were given as the two defaults in the original post). Wax On
one of my choices was a little like an ahh and one was a sine wave
