Sir Dongbot
I am mate, fave producers are Green Velvet, Laurent Garner, aslo like melodic techno like Jeff Mills, Aphex Twin's earlier stuff and Sven Vath.
doppelkorn
My mates are/were big into kitsune and ed banger and all that lot. I kind of like it because of that.

Just caught this track, "Hardy Boyz - It's Hardy Time (Emynd Remix) -- Good shit. I'm into all types of producers though. I try to stick to the mainstream house, or at least the top20 on beatport.com Deadmau5, Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack, Ian Carey, Chuckie, Felguk, A-Trak -- just to name a few. Happy to know this since I may try to post up some house mixtapes...
Sounds like a crime
I got into electro last year, but it would be the more housey stuff. Havent reallyy listened to anything recent though. but my faves were CrookersJusticeFlosstradamusBoy noize The count of monte cristal And basically anything by kitsune, ed banger and such. urgh cant remember any more, How annoying when I basically used to listen to the stuff all the time. dissonance
Cajmere = Green Velvet's first moniker wouldn't call either of these house though...more on the techno side of things.... but, this one's house ALL THE WAY!

Wax On
(Wolfgang Gartner can do no wrong!) Surely part of his rep is cos he's got a bad ass name. If he was called Greg or Dave he wouldn't get takes as seriously

Loads of amazing european techno about at the moment as well. Have all of them on waxall these electornic producers dont classify themselves under any genre.. its a bit silly. some even get defensive when you say, "youre a house producer" -- "no way mate, electronica nu indie disco electro" but, its the new wave. all genres are clashing with eachother... I don't think it's silly, in fact I love that they make music that's different and isn't easy to pigeonhole and make tracks in a variety of genres with their sound. It's a good thing and seperates them from all the copycats who just make one particular style of music and are afraid to do anything else. I find it annoying that as music fans we have to label music and invent new names when anything new comes about. </hippie statement> I'm not sure but I think i've just contradicted what I was saying about the LA beats movement/wonky/future beatsa few months ago. To a certain extent music can't evolve if it's insular.
