Wax On
Thought it'd be worth starting a thread like the movie one, but for music, be it new, recent, or reissued. I haven't actually got any music at the front of my mind at the moment though, so its a bit of a fail. Thought it'd be a good way to get up on some more recent music as i'm not incredibly current... Here are a few I enjoyed in 2009: about half of Blueprint 3Cuban Linx IIMOP - The FoundationWarren G - The G FilesMayer Hawthorne - A Strange Arrangement theyre the first which spring to mind

djdiggla
One of the best albums I heard was a local group that has got some attention... Think young James Brown. Black Joe Lewis and the HoneybearsTell 'Em What Your Name Is! is the album. This is my fav song off of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgLHgAt6Uvs

I've got into all the Shogun stuff, especially Spectrasoul, over the last 2 or 3 months (bit late i know). Really soulful yet still dark and techy tracks.
