one idea is a korg nano kontrol and a cheap and cheerful, no frills 49 key keyboard. should be easily under a ton all in. it depends on how you want to use ableton- but that combo would sort you out for both production and live duties on the cheap.

 

 

ON second thought. He's prolly right. The Nano Control is a good starter tool. Cheap!

This is what Lamont was using in his youtube video. I gots to get this, looks dope, and it's pretty inexpensive. Could be my next best friend.

I'm selling a Trigger Finger, a O2 V2 and an FCB 1010, the foot pedal above. All are perfect for what you want. Because you play guitar, if you wanna use ableton live, I would go for a foot pedal. If you are not using it live, go with the other two. I selling them for pretty cheap on ebay Rizz. If you want something, let me know.
