Steve
Rap star Kanye West was named best hip hop artist but still came off as a sore loser at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Kanye apparently was so disappointed at not winning for best video that he crashed the stage Thursday in Copenhagen when the award was being presented to Justice and Simian for We Are Your Friends. In a tirade riddled with expletives, Kanye said he should have won the prize for his video Touch The Sky, because it “cost a million dollars, Pamela Anderson was in it. I was jumping across canyons.†“If I don't win, the awards show loses credibility,†Kanye said.http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto...ertainment/home
djdiggla
BWAHAHAHAHA! $$ doesn't buy everything. Learn to rhyme better too or just stick to making hooks.
Steve
It's pretty arrogant of him to walk on stage while someone else is receiving their award. At least when ODB did it, he had a point, plus ODB was mad as fuck anyway so it's what you'd expect from him. Haha.

At least when ODB did it, he had a point, plus ODB was mad as fuck anyway so it's what you'd expect from him. Haha. Yeah, that is bullshit. I would have had a law suit for punching him in the face for some shit like that. He has a sefl centeredness problem doesn't he. More than arrogant, it was just disrespectful. He is very immature. It's like his mommy always told him he was the "most specialist" and now he's all grown up but believes it. I hear he has a huge painting of himself in his living room recieving the "gift of rhyme" from God! Pffftt. What is wrong with this guy? Reminds me of the bull fighter painting from Dodgeball. Gizmo
I think the guy has skills but he's believing his own early press. It's a shame that these stars don't actually read the press they get after they get famous. Maybe then they might become humble again as the realities of superstardom kick in. As for the awards ceremony. He was nominated and that's a pretty high accolade considering the sheer volume of music videos released these days. 2 golden rules - credit where credit is due and never steal anyone's thunder. Now I'll have to check out the winning video before I slag it off and claim that I could do better. UPDATE:I watched the video - well the 2-3 minutes that's on Youtube. Looks like the aftermath of a typical student party to me. Not sure I'd have named it the winner, but then again, I'm not sure about Kanye's winning either.
