Chee
I've just installed IE7, but I've now discovered that my old Trixie Script to bypass the Windows Validation on the Windows Update page no longer works. Anyone have a new way to bypass this validation?
Dub-Se7en
use system restore and go back to before you installed ie7, that will reset the WGA, then source a 'cracked' copy of ie7.
Chee
Nah, I already used a cracked copy of IE7. That installed without a hitch. Basically, I used to have a script installed via a plug-in called Trixie, in IE6. The script enabled me to bypass the WGA check on Microsoft's Windows Update Page, so I could manually download and install critical fixes, etc. But ever since installing IE7, the script doesn't work anymore, so I need a new one, and was hoping someone here knows of one. Dub-Se7en
i get ya, well, one way round it is not to use the windows update website and set your automatic updates to notify before download and installing. it doesn't check for WGA doing that (well, it does, but you can uncheck it ) or, i've got something that works lurking about somewhere. i'll pm you when i find it
Hertzworth
i never update windows, but i know people who always get the validation cracks off of torrent sites. Give this one a shot.http://tr.searching.com/view.php?id=639890
