Jimmy
this is just an idea, so it probly cant be done or just is far too much effort to bother. i have a few things i want to do this yr regarding djing etc.number 1: DMCnumber 2: record my live experiments EPand number 3: do a really good mix. so i was wondering if anyone was up for putting a mix together with me.i was thinking good mixes. amazing tracks and the right about of trickery.i would do it myself but im not amazing with software and all that, so if someone else who can work multilayer mixes could collab then i reckon we could get something worth while out of it. let me kno
Steve
I think that's a great idea, although I've just started a new multitracked mix myself. If several people took it in turns to add a tune on the end we could do it, although it would be hard to keep the sound quality consistent. $a!n+
Yall should just start off doing mini mixes like jordan does.
cbay
maybe 8 ppl with 10 min mixes.. just 80 mins divided between however many people. i think that would be cool, like a bunch of mini-mixes.. micro even.
Jimmy
i think if we were to do a big mix full of lil mixes, we should allocate one person who is wicked on software to keep ontop of it and sequence it etc (this wasnt whati had in mind, but i think its a bo idea anyway)

tedslipmat
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hijack this thread. I just wanted to be sure that Cambian and the others want to put mixes of that kind together. Hum. but mabye it was just unconsciously. grmpf I'm baffled
texas pete
A cool idea would be "pass the mix" heres how it would work, someone post up a tunethen someone posts up the starting tune mixed into their tune of choice and passes on to the next person... after a few times round who knows what it would sound like! we should end up with a half decent album by the end of it! I'm getting my website up soon and I have a remix mixtape in production at the moment, I won't be using all the beats I'm initially setting aside for it I'm sure...
