  1. New tracks from 2020 with scratching? Leave it to one of the only members here who doesn't even cut Y'all my sons..
  2. I bought Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac 'Greatest Hits' album when I was 14 years old and that record of their early music was such an enormous influence on me. Was really sad to hear of Peter Green's death today. He was one monumentally talented guitarist but his life wasnt exactly straightforward,he had very well documented mental health troubles, was eventually diagnosed with schizophrenia and spent time in hospitals undergoing electro-convulsive therapy during the mid-70s. Hope he's sleeping easy now. RIP.
  3. FLOL. You cant beat a good Rock and Roll myth. Some people have long assumed that Grace Jones’ hit ‘Pull Up To The Bumper’ featuring the line “grease it/spray it/let me lubricate it” is in fact about anal sex. However, the Disco diva recently dispelled this myth, explaining, “I kind of like the doggy position myself, but that doesn’t mean it’s going up me arse.”..
  4. I can't fault early Fleetwood Mac (with Peter Green) those first few albums when he was the leader of the band are really good. I like some of the 'Rumours' LP, there's a few cool songs on there but most of their really commercial stuff leaves me a bit cold tbh. Edit: I remember hearing a story once that one of the Fleetwood Mac roadies used to have to blow cocaine through a straw up into Stevie Nicks' ass before she went out on stage at their concerts in the 70s cause she'd damaged her nose so badly from abusing the drug. Not sure how true that actually is, though it makes for an interesting Rock and Roll story hahaha..
  5. Didn't know this was even released, but that just shows how far behind I am lately with most new music coming out. Listened to the entire album and was massively disappointed..think there was literally one track that I thought was half decent on there. The record sounds so stiff, forced and uninspired. He really has fallen off big time in my opinion. I wasn't really expecting much though to be totally honest but this is just garbage.

Sounds like a slowed down Electro break from one of the DirtStyle records. Not a massive help admittedly but maybe check some of those if you haven't already.
  7. And those are the type of people that have their brains firmly wedged up their assholes, coupled with a mentality that rightfully belongs back in the dark ages. These fuckwits need to open their eyes, take their heads out of the fucking sand and get with the program. We've moved on. It's the year 2020 for fucks sake not 1845.
  8. This is dope Flowerpot.. Tagged you over on your Soundcloud page dude.
  9. A true pioneer,a one off. RIP. https://www-rollingstone-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/little-richard-dead-48505/amp/?amp_js_v=a3&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQFKAGwASA%3D#aoh=15890420529484&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rollingstone.com%2Fmusic%2Fmusic-news%2Flittle-richard-dead-48505%2F

  11. ^^^^^ Holy fuck .. FLOL.. I remember watching this back in the day. I quite like some of their stuff but almost all of Dexys tracks were straight lifts from other artists (they were especially fond of nicking melodies from old Northern Soul tunes) This Jimmy James and the Vagabonds track is a case in point where the vocals sound exactly like the chorus from Come On Eileen.
  12. Yeah, dope stuff dude, some nice vibes here. Got to say that I agree with Steve's comment that the Terminator one would sound great with an MC too. Hope you're doing good my man! ..
  13. Yeah, gonna echo what JB said Broma. Some very nice stuff going on here for sure dude..
  14. Listening now.. while doing the dishes... Nice mix. Sounds dope T-Bear.
  15. WTF? .. This routine is absolute sacrilege! No one fucks with J.H. Still fkin dope though, hehe. Good stuff man!..
  16. These are fucking dope Broma! Ive missed out on a lot of what's been going on recently,so much to catch up with on here, really nice stuff my dude.
  17. This is sad to hear about, always loved the guy's work with The Orb and many others. RIP
  18. Mid 60's to mid 70's for me. Soul on Atco,Atlantic,Capitol etcetera the drum sounds and production of Holland,Dozier,Holland and a ton of glorious Northern Soul which was released towards the end of the decade. Rudy Mockabee on Atco. Early 70s Fusion,The Mahavishnu Orchestra,Weather Report,Brand X, Return To Forever,Jazz on Columbia and CTI. Musical boundaries getting warped and pushed to the limits,Prog Rock and all its wonderfull self indulgent madness. 70s Deep Funk, far too many legendary cuts to mention in a single post. Blaxplotation movie soundtracks are a particular favourite of mine too, just so much dopeness on display, some of those soundtracks are criminally unknown and unappreciated, which is a real shame in my opinion. Definitely my favourite era of music, hands down, more or less everything else pales in comparision for me personally.
