My friend ryan gaddy (whose stage name is TRU-G and performs hip-hop) got signed w/ Universal Records in LA. And he is from Calhan, CO. You probs know them but they are an indy label based in Chicago. I did a UK gig with them about 3 months ago and theye were all safe as fuck. Was even gonna hit Qwel up about doing a track. Anyway have a look at there website www.galapagos4.com and send them something. They were telling me they haven't had to pay for anything as the label covers it all and there was about 15 of them on a European tour so I'm sure they are sdoing ok. Anyway good luck man. When we have some swagg and CDs to give out to a street team, I'll be hollering! About the labels, well, its all bling bling hiphop down here. I had the chance to sign with a record company and turned it down because it seemed so ghetto. Just wasnt my style. hopefully someone will find us.
