VPN advice

Wax On

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

A mate of mine is trying to use VPNs (which I'm pretty clueless about), and said he was using Zenmate with Chrome, and also the Opera VPN but they've stopped working.

He's on Virgin Media so thinks they could be blocked by the ISP - any thoughts? Any other free ones that people use?

"He" may not want to hear it, but "he" should just pay for one to safely access whatever creepy stuff "he's" into.

You get deals all the time and they end up about $2-3 a month, like NordVPN.

I think the Opera one collected data logs. don't think those free ones can really perform like a proper paid service.

Free VPNs are not reliable and speeds are bad in most scenarios. Get Nord or Express for a month to make sure it does what you want* and get a longer subscription once you made your choice.

*Some streaming services banned IP ranges associated with VPNs so some may work, some may not.
