OKJoy
People, just wondering what the best option is to let people stream a DJ mix online, now that Mixcloud is charging and limiting free plays? YouTube completely blocked my mix because of copyright.I was thinking Soundcloud but I wanted to save that for production. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Steve
This seems alright: - https://www.house-mixes.com It's been around for years, but it seems to have flown more under the radar than some other sites that have been forced to implement harsh copyright rules or other restrictions. There doesn't seem to be any restrictions on users playing mixes. You can play a mix as much as you like, skip back and forth without restrictions and what have you. You do need to have an account to be able to download a track or mix, but not for playing/streaming.
OKJoy
Thanks for the recommend! I found a few more sites like this one in my search too, play.fm and hearthis.at
TBearOne8III
im on mixcloud. soundcloud does not offer enough storage for free. thats best for production. I've been on https://www.podomatic.com/ for over 10 years now. you can get about 6 hours of content on there for free. and they let listeners stream or download. I just keep deleting old mixes since pro rates are expensive.
