Tbtf
Basically want to know if he is performing the pull back / push whilst opening the fader, or does he open the fader then does a pull back / push? I cant really tell from the video but I would think both would sound different. Any feedback try to get this down slowly.
Tbtf
He's doing two different scratches there, normal 2-click orbits and delayed 2-click orbits (0:16), both with an accent. Normal ones start open fader, delayed: closed fader. Basically same movement, but shifting the timing in reference to the beat. The problem is the video is bad - doing a half a dozen different scratches, but doesn't use appropriate terms or provide TTM notation. What makes things even more confusing is, sometimes boomerangs, autobahn types and swing flares get all mixed up depending on tutorial. Here's what I consider delayed flares: yo cheers that is definitely the scratch he is doing at the end. this is much easier to watch cheers! Guest broke
Here's what I consider delayed flares: That's the tugjob, but some people call it the delayed 3-click
joeClockwork
^^I've been doing this scratch for a while now, although I never knew it was called a Tugjob! I think I prefer 'delayed 3-click' I'd recommend learning it over slow beats first. Sounds obvious but it gets really starts getting difficult at 90+BPM.
