Mutis Mayfield
Well I believe that a hybrid solution will be better. Digital encoder (cdx)'for scratching and DVS for the rest. ITOH the guy who made similar for djplayer seems is glad to open the source. Look at comments. https://turntablecontrol.wordpress.com/ Back in topic I find this "x86 inside mixer" a crappy concept if you aren't doing the homework right like improving the speed of decoding with things like this (schmidt trigger Rasteri?) and proper software side (dedicated djing program not a desktop one stretched to fit inside little monotouch screen in the age of iPads...) jeljms
Its a shame that will probably never go any further than proof of concept, would be brilliant. The word 'probably' can be removed.

Mutis Mayfield
If we go further in the raspi path I have some collected resources to make it an step by step process but... I tried to mess with my raspi 2 and I get stuck installing the distro :V
Flexinoodle
I don't have a Ras Pi to get on board right now, i will do at some point in the future though, they look like a good crack for messing with some of this stuff.
