mighty atom
Hi guys, wanted to share something I have been working on for a while with you. This a turntablist House mixtape I've done for DJ mag, a very well established dance music magazine.. Steve
This mix is excellent man. I liked the tunes, some more than others. The technical stuff made this mix stand out to me though. It's really well put together and the scratching sounds superb. You've always been up there when it comes to scratching, but it seems like in the last couple of years you've turned into a proper beast on the cut. What's the tune that samples "The Finest" by The S.O.S. Band?
DJ Rock Well
Won't get a chance to listen tonight, but genuinely looking forward to hearing this - always got time for any proper turntablist mixes of any genre.
kut_class
Does DJ mag really cover turntablism ? I'm guessing not. big things for you and the turntablism scene !

mighty atom
CHeers Rockwell!! Hope you enjoy KutKlass - Nope they have zero interest in turntablism, thats why I did a house mix so it was more accessible and understandable. Def need to promote the art more to dance music fans.. take it back to when there was scratching on dance and hardcore records! Cheers Numnuts..

DJ Rock Well
Loved it! Big respect for doing this - turntablism all too often gets stuck in ruts, not here though. Exactly as it should be.

Deft
Nice mix. I always like the Kelis / Richard X version of "The Finest". Best version surely the 1995/96 happy hardcore version;
mfsop
I wouldn't enjoy most tracks on their own but your mix really makes them great just like a DJ Craze or Spinbad mix - excellent stuff!

JHouse
Diggin' this right now, like right right now. Echoing what others have said...dope, well placed cuts. Tight mixing, too. Reminds of me of how I use to play, mixing house with cuts, and just doing the tablist thing. I need to get back to that style, it was mad fun and entertaining. Dan
Best version surely the 1995/96 happy hardcore version; It is if we're pretending the de-chipmunked Foul Play version doesn't exist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHOId80Ooog
