Steve
Here's how to get it to work - You must post the link in this format, where "xxxx" is a 4 character code: - http://official.fm/tracks/xxxx The simplest way to do this is to go to your profile page on Official.fm, click on a mix/track to go to its individual page, then copy the URL from the address bar of your web browser. Here's an example with Rock Well's entry for the 7 x 7" mix battle - the link looks like this: - http://official.fm/tracks/prVO So all you need to do to embed a player automatically is just post the link as normal and it'll turn into this: - http://official.fm/tracks/prVO

Steve
Cool man!BTW, how did you get the more minimal players on your page, rather than the tall, rectangular one in the example above? EDIT - Never mind, I figured it out. I've changed it to the square player now, which still gives you download and share options.
DJ Rock Well
Cool, thanks for that... looks like even I can manage this (and I only learnt what hashtagging was in December).

DJ Rock Well
Looks like us official.fm users (yes, both of us) are really cooking with gas... as my grandma used to say. Back to the other fuckers though... do soundcloud tell actually tell you which songs you played that were the problem?
Steve
I've had 3 uploads rejected by SoundCloud and in every case, it said which songs were blocked at the point the uploads were rejected. In every case, it was the first song in the mix, which backs up what I've read on forums about them only scanning the first couple of minutes of your upload. DJ Rock Well
Oh ok, when they said no to me, they didn't specify... strange. Interesting to know about the first couple of minutes being scanned. I'll start with a dodgy bootleg next time!
